Presented on Valentine’s Day 2025, this show intertwines two distinct yet harmoniously complementary bodies of work, exploring themes of interconnectedness, human emotion, and the mysteries of existence. Imponderabilia / The Dance of the Rose invites viewers to embark on a journey that bridges the cosmic and the personal, the environmental and the introspective.
The Dual - Louis Flint
Louis Flint:The Dance of the Rose

Louis Flint’s The Dance of the Rose is a deeply personal exploration of unrequited love, loneliness, and the enigmatic nature of the self. Inspired by the 16th-century English Tudor period, Flint’s work centers on a character who is part dancer, part harlequin, and part rogue. This figure, adorned in vibrant, dandy-like attire, embodies the tension between external beauty and internal tragedy.
Using charcoal and strong linework, Flint’s drawings evoke a sense of naïve primitivism, drawing viewers into a world of symbolism and emotion. The character’s flaws and struggles are laid bare, creating a poignant contrast to their outward allure. The Dance of the Rose is a meditation on the human condition, inviting introspection and challenging viewers to confront their own mysteries and desires.

Vinita Khanna - Imponderabilia

Vinita Khanna’s Imponderabilia series is a profound meditation on the rhythms of nature and the intricate connections between the body, mind, and cosmos. Rooted in Eastern philosophy and environmental consciousness, Khanna’s work transforms discarded materials into immersive installations that challenge viewers to reconsider their relationship with the natural world.
Her sculptures and collages create a “viscous mesh,” where individual elements dissolve into a dynamic whole, reflecting the immeasurable complexities of existence. Through her poetic exploration of space, form, and energy, Khanna asks whether humanity can reconnect with nature as a unified and powerful force. Imponderabilia is not just an artistic statement but a call to action, urging audiences to confront the environmental crises of our time while embracing a vision of interconnectedness that transcends intellectual boundaries.
